About ZORB Rotorua
ZORB Rotorua is the original home of zorbing — the uniquely New Zealand invention of rolling downhill inside a giant inflatable ball. Located on the slopes of Mount Ngongotaha just five minutes north of central Rotorua, ZORB has been a must-do Rotorua attraction for over two decades and remains one of the most photographed and talked-about adventure experiences in the country.
The facility features four distinct tracks catering to different thrill levels: the Sidewinder, the world's longest zig-zag zorbing track; the double Straight Track for a smooth, fast descent; the MEGA Track — the longest, fastest, and steepest track in the world; and the Pipeline Track. Rides are available in both wet (with warm water inside the ball) and dry formats, with the wet rides being especially popular on warm days. Multiple riders can go together for a shared laughing, tumbling experience.
What makes ZORB iconic is that it's an experience you genuinely cannot get anywhere else — the combination of the purpose-built hillside tracks, the sheer absurdity of tumbling inside a transparent ball, and the stunning Rotorua backdrop create memories that visitors talk about for years. It's a family-friendly, all-ages attraction that never fails to produce genuine belly laughs.
