Velocity Valley is Rotorua's premier adrenaline adventure park, located at the world-famous Agrodome complex on Paradise Valley Road. Formerly known as Agroventures, the park packs five distinctly different thrill rides into a single location, making it a one-stop destination for adventure seekers who want to tick off multiple bucket-list experiences in a single visit.
The lineup includes the Agrojet — New Zealand's fastest jet sprint boat hurtling around a purpose-built watercourse at breakneck speed — plus the Swoop, a 40-metre high giant swing, Vertigo, a 43-metre vertical drop exclusive to Velocity Valley, Freefall Xtreme, the Southern Hemisphere's only indoor wind tunnel body-flight experience, and the Shweeb, a unique human-powered monorail racetrack that's the only one of its kind in the world.
