About Scuola Sci Cristallo Cortina
Scuola Italiana Sci & Snowboard Cristallo Cortina is a respected ski and snowboard school based on Corso Italia, Cortina d'Ampezzo's main pedestrian boulevard. Founded in 1997, the school has grown to employ over 50 qualified instructors who collectively speak English, German, French, Spanish, and Italian — reflecting Cortina's cosmopolitan clientele.
The school's programme covers private and group lessons for children from age three through to adults at every ability level, from first-time skiers to expert freeriders. Specialist offerings include off-piste instruction, guided ski touring in the Dolomites, telemark clinics, and night skiing experiences on floodlit slopes. Snowboard instruction mirrors the ski programme with dedicated board-specific coaches.
Cristallo's strength lies in its personalised approach and deep local knowledge. Instructors are born-and-raised Cortinesi who know every run, powder stash, and rifugio lunch spot in the Dolomiti Superski network. Small group sizes — typically four to six students — ensure meaningful progression, and the school's central location makes meeting points easy for families staying anywhere in town.
