Rental Tofana is the official equipment hire centre at the Freccia nel Cielo cable car station in central Cortina d'Ampezzo. Operated by the Tofana lift company, the shop sits on the lower level of the departure building at Via dello Stadio 12, putting renters steps from the gondola that climbs all the way to Ra Valles at 2,470 metres.
The inventory covers alpine skis, snowboards, touring skis with compatible boots, snowshoes, helmets, backpacks, and poles. An in-house workshop handles full base grinds, edge tuning, waxing, mirror-polish finishes, and race preparation including binding setup and DIN certification. Overnight storage with boot drying is available for guests who prefer not to carry gear back to their hotel.
Because Rental Tofana is run by the same company that operates the Tofana lifts, the integration is seamless — renters can pick up equipment, walk upstairs, and be on the cable car within minutes. Pricing is competitive, and the staff draw on direct knowledge of Tofana snow conditions to recommend the right ski or board for the day.
