About Scuola Sci Azzurra Cortina
Scuola Sci Azzurra Cortina is a prestigious ski school founded in December 1979 by four former Italian National Ski Team members, located at Via Ria de Zeto 8 near the Faloria cable car station. The school was established with the express goal of bringing world-class racing pedigree to recreational ski instruction, and its roster of instructors includes former Winter Olympics, World Championship, and World Cup competitors.
Azzurra offers private and group lessons in alpine skiing for children, teenagers, and adults at every ability level. Specialist clinics focus on race technique, carving, and mogul skiing, drawing on the founders' competitive background. The school also provides snowboard instruction and off-piste guiding across Cortina's Dolomiti Superski terrain, including the iconic hidden valleys and panoramic Lagazuoi descents.
With over four decades in Cortina d'Ampezzo — host of the 1956 and 2026 Winter Olympics — Azzurra has trained generations of skiers on some of the most dramatic mountain scenery in the world. The school's combination of elite coaching credentials and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a standout choice for anyone looking to sharpen their technique on the Queen of the Dolomites' legendary slopes.
