About Zero G Chamonix
Zero G is an independent snowboard and bike specialist in the heart of Chamonix, occupying a street-level shop on Avenue Ravanel le Rouge — named after the legendary Chamonix guide. The shop is built around snowboard culture and freeride values, offering a curated rental fleet and retail selection that reflects the tastes of the Chamonix valley's dedicated riding community rather than the mass-market approach of chain rental outlets.
In winter, Zero G transforms into a snowboard and splitboard headquarters, renting current-season boards, bindings, and boots from brands like Burton, Jones, Lib Tech, and Salomon. Splitboard touring setups are a speciality, catering to the valley's growing backcountry community with packages that include skins, poles, and avalanche safety gear. The in-house workshop handles board repairs, edge tuning, wax, and binding mounting, with same-day turnaround on most service jobs.
What sets Zero G apart from Chamonix's larger rental operations is its authenticity — this is a shop run by riders for riders, with staff who spend their off-days exploring the Vallée Blanche, Grands Montets, and Brévent freeride zones. In summer, the shop pivots to mountain bikes, road bikes, and gravel bikes, maintaining a year-round presence in Chamonix's outdoor sports scene.
