About The Adventure Group
The Adventure Group — known locally as TAG — is Whistler's largest year-round outdoor adventure operator, running a sprawling basecamp on Cougar Mountain just ten minutes north of Whistler Village. Since launching their first zipline course, TAG has expanded into a multi-activity adventure park that draws tens of thousands of visitors each season, offering everything from whitewater rafting and snowmobile tours to side-by-side off-road excursions and aerial obstacle courses. A complimentary shuttle runs throughout the day between Whistler Village and Cougar Mountain, making the basecamp as easy to reach as any in-village attraction.
Summer highlights include the Superfly Ziplines course — featuring four dual ziplines where riders soar side by side above the Cheakamus River canyon — as well as Class 2–3 whitewater rafting on the Green River, guided snowshoe hikes through old-growth forest, and SxS tours along rugged mountain trails. In winter, TAG switches to snowmobile tours through the Callaghan Valley backcountry, twilight snowshoe fondue evenings, and their signature Vallea Lumina multimedia night walk through the ancient forest. Every booking includes a Day Ticket granting access to lower ziplines, axe throwing, and the full basecamp grounds.
What makes TAG stand out is the sheer breadth of activities under one operation — visitors can fill an entire vacation day without leaving Cougar Mountain. Their commitment to the ecological setting, combined with professional guides and well-maintained equipment, has earned TAG a TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice award year after year. Whether you want an adrenaline-packed zipline ride or a peaceful snowshoe through powder-draped forest, TAG delivers Whistler's widest adventure menu.
