Taupo Bungy, operated by AJ Hackett Bungy New Zealand, is the country's only cliff-top bungy jump. Perched on a dramatic cantilever platform high above the crystal-clear Waikato River, the site sits just five minutes from central Taupō and draws thousands of jumpers each year looking for a rush in a stunning natural setting.
The jump offers solo and tandem options, with the option to touch or fully submerge in the river below depending on your weight and preference. AJ Hackett's Taupō centre also features the Cliffhanger — a giant swing experience that launches riders out over the river gorge.
