About Skischule Lech
Skischule Lech is the principal ski school in Lech Zürs am Arlberg, fielding over 250 highly trained snowsport instructors across the resort's interconnected ski areas. As one of the oldest and most respected schools in Austria's Arlberg region — the birthplace of modern alpine skiing — it carries a tradition of teaching excellence that stretches back decades.
The school offers group courses and private lessons in alpine skiing, snowboarding, cross-country, ski touring, and telemark. Children's programmes start from age three with the Pfiff Miniclub, progressing through structured levels that blend technique drills with games and confidence-building exercises. Adult group courses run at every level from first-timer to expert, and private instruction is available for those who want faster progression or focused off-piste coaching.
With meeting points in both Lech village and Oberlech, Skischule Lech gives guests flexible access to the Ski Arlberg area's 305 kilometres of piste. The school's deep roots in the community and its large, experienced instructor team mean consistent quality whether you book a half-day taster or a week-long intensive course.
