Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park is La Fortuna's premier rainforest canopy walking experience, situated on 600 acres of pristine tropical forest just 15 kilometres from town. The main trail spans 3.2 kilometres through lush rainforest, crossing six suspension bridges (up to 98 metres long and 60 metres high) and nine fixed bridges that offer eye-level access to the forest canopy. Visitors can explore self-guided or with expert naturalist guides who spot toucans, monkeys, sloths, and poison dart frogs along the way.
