About Lizard Adventure
Lizard Adventure operates from the UK's most southerly point — the Lizard Peninsula — delivering coasteering, sea kayaking, surfing, and paddleboarding experiences along one of Cornwall's most dramatic and unspoiled stretches of coastline. With over 30 years of adventure activity experience, they're now part of the MAKAI group alongside Global Boarders, Gwithian Surf School, and Mousehole Adventure, giving them a multi-site presence across West Cornwall while retaining their identity as the Lizard's specialist operator.
Coasteering is their flagship activity, with routes running from Cadgwith Cove and Mullion Cove along sea cliffs, through caves and natural rock pools, with cliff jumps ranging from cautious scrambles to full-commitment leaps. Sea kayaking tours explore the Lizard's hidden coves, kelp forests, and seal colonies, while SUP sessions — including their popular mega-SUP group board — offer a more relaxed way to explore the coast. Surfing lessons run from nearby west-facing beaches when conditions suit.
The Lizard Peninsula is wilder and less commercialised than Newquay or St Ives, and Lizard Adventure leans into that — their sessions feel like genuine coastal exploration rather than theme-park thrills. The serpentine rock formations, crystal-clear water, and abundant marine life (seals, basking sharks, choughs) make this stretch of coast uniquely rewarding, and their guides bring the geology and ecology to life alongside the adrenaline.
