About K3 Cat Ski
K3 Cat Ski is a boutique cat skiing operator based in Revelstoke, British Columbia, offering lift-accessed backcountry skiing and snowboarding in the Selkirk and Monashee mountain ranges surrounding the Columbia Valley. Operating from a base on MacKenzie Avenue in downtown Revelstoke, K3 transports small groups by snowcat into pristine alpine terrain that would otherwise require hours of touring to reach.
Day trips typically include eight to twelve runs through old-growth glades, open alpine bowls, and steep chutes, with terrain suited to intermediate-advanced through expert riders. The operation runs with a maximum of twelve guests per cat, keeping the powder fresh and the experience intimate. All-inclusive packages cover guide service, safety equipment including avalanche transceivers, lunch, and transportation from town to the staging area.
K3 stands apart from Revelstoke's larger heli-ski and cat-ski operations by focusing on a single-cat, high-touch experience. Guides are ACMG-certified and intimately familiar with the local snowpack, adjusting terrain selection daily based on avalanche conditions. For riders who want the backcountry powder Revelstoke is famous for without the cost of helicopter access, K3 provides an accessible entry point into the backcountry experience.
