Swap $49/mo + 3% for $23/mo + 2%, add native AI, waivers, and equipment maintenance. This self-serve guide walks through export, CSV prep, channel-manager handling, import, and parallel-run cutover — typically 5–7 business days.

WHY OPERATORS SWITCH
Rezdy's channel manager is genuinely strong. Operators leave when the cost + feature gaps stop justifying the OTA distribution value.
Rezdy's "up to 3% booking fee" stacks on the $49/mo subscription. One Capterra reviewer reports a ~700% fee increase after a pricing change. If your bill jumped, you're not alone.
Rezdy doesn't ship native digital waivers. You either run Smartwaiver (another subscription) or Wherewolf. Consolidating to one system saves the subscription and the reconciliation headache.
Rezdy reviewers consistently flag weak resource management for open-timing rental products. If rentals have grown beyond a side-line, the fit breaks down.
Rezdy has no native AI. Only community-built MCP connectors and Zapier. EquipDash ships Dash AI + Agents + MCP natively so Claude and ChatGPT can act on your business.
BEFORE YOU START
Do these three things first. They prevent the most common migration problems.
STEP BY STEP
Each step assumes the previous one is complete. Run sequentially.
Rezdy exports from the admin under each section's list view. Waiver history sits in Smartwaiver — export separately from that account. Reviews on Rezdy aren't native; they route to the OTA the booking came from.
Pull these CSVs, in this order:
Rezdy column names don't match EquipDash import templates. Download templates (Settings → Import) and remap:
Keep original Rezdy CSVs untouched. They're your rollback snapshot if anything looks off.
Import in this order: Products → Customers → Open bookings. Historical bookings import as notes on customer records, not as EquipDash bookings (switch date is day zero for analytics).
Payment gateway and waiver setup are the biggest changes. Decide early how you'll handle OTA distribution post-Rezdy.
For one week, take new direct bookings in EquipDash while Rezdy fulfils existing bookings and continues OTA distribution. Keep Rezdy read-access open 60 days for reconciliation.
AFTER MIGRATING
Cost savings plus native features Rezdy never had. Most operators cancel Smartwaiver within the first week.
HONEST WARNINGS
We'd rather tell you up front than have you discover it day three.
Rezdy Marketplace distributes to 100+ OTAs with two-way sync. If that's meaningful to your business, moving off it means direct OTA contracts or a different channel manager. Plan this deliberately — the trade-off is real.
If you used RezdyPay, get a written outstanding-balance statement before switching gateways. Confirm no pending chargebacks and a clear payout schedule for anything in flight.
Signed waivers live in Smartwaiver. Export them as PDFs for compliance archive before cancelling. Don't lose signed records even if you stop using Smartwaiver.
Rezdy reports don't map 1:1 to EquipDash. Export last 12 months from Rezdy before cancelling — those CSVs are your pre-switch benchmark.
Copy Rezdy email templates to a doc before cutover. EquipDash's template editor uses different variables — ~1 hour per template to adapt.
We don't offer paid migration. This guide is what we'd tell you on a call. If you hit a block, email support — but we won't run the migration for you.
MIGRATION FAQ
Everything operators ask before pulling the trigger from Rezdy.
Contact Us5–7 business days end-to-end for single-location operators. Multi-location or OTA-heavy shops run 10–14 days. The bottleneck is usually channel-manager transition and email-template rewriting, not data import.
Import Rezdy CSVs, cancel Smartwaiver, drop the $49/mo entry tier. $23/mo + 2%, native AI + waivers + maintenance. 21-day free trial.
