Trilogy Excursions is Maui's original sailing and snorkelling company, family-owned and operated since 1973. Founded by the Coon family, the company pioneered catamaran sailing tours in Hawaiian waters and has grown into one of the most respected ocean adventure operators in the state. Operating from Lahaina Harbor, Trilogy runs daily sailing excursions to some of Maui's most iconic marine destinations, including Molokini Crater and the island of Lanai.
The fleet consists of custom-built performance sailing catamarans designed specifically for Hawaiian waters, offering a smooth, stable ride with plenty of deck space. Signature trips include the Molokini Snorkel & Sail, a full-day Lanai excursion with beach barbecue, sunset dinner sails along the west Maui coast, and seasonal whale watching cruises. All trips include snorkel gear, instruction for beginners, and complimentary food and drinks. The crew are trained ocean naturalists who share knowledge about Hawaiian marine life, reef ecology, and the cultural significance of the waters they sail.
