About Niseko Hanazono Pure
Niseko Hanazono Pure is the summer adventure arm of Hanazono Resort, one of the four interconnected ski areas that make up Niseko United. While Hanazono is best known for its deep powder in winter, Pure transforms the resort into a full-service outdoor activity centre from June through October, offering Japan's longest zip line tour, tree trekking courses, rafting, and a range of family-friendly adventures set against the dramatic backdrop of Mt Yotei volcano.
The zip line tour is the headline attraction — spanning a cumulative 1.4 kilometres across multiple lines strung high above the forest canopy, it's the longest zip line experience in Japan. The tree trekking course adds ropes, hanging bridges, nets, and elevated platforms for a multi-hour adventure through the Hanazono forest. On the water side, they run rafting trips on the Shiribetsu River, river SUP sessions, and ducky (inflatable kayak) tours. Mountain biking, fishing, and guided hiking round out the summer programme, with most activities suitable for families with children aged five and up.
Pure's advantage is resort-level infrastructure applied to adventure activities — clean facilities, professional safety standards, multilingual staff, and easy online booking through the Hanazono system. Unlike independent operators who work out of car parks and gear sheds, Pure operates from the Hanazono Resort base with proper check-in areas, changing rooms, and a café. The combination of world-class zip lining, river activities, and forest adventures in one location makes it the most efficient way to fill a summer week in Niseko.
