Boot Solutions Japan is a specialist custom ski boot fitting studio in Niseko Hirafu, owned and operated by Dr. Ned Buckley — an experienced foot and ankle surgeon who brings medical, biomechanical, and technical expertise to every fitting. Located in the Suiboku Building approximately 250 metres up the hill from the main Hirafu traffic lights, the shop relocated to larger premises in November 2024 and now shares the building with Niseko Wow, creating a one-stop destination for premium rentals and precision boot fitting.
The shop stocks over 120 ski and snowboard boot models from eleven leading brands including Atomic, Dalbello, Dynafit, K2, Lange, Nordica, and Tecnica. Services extend well beyond standard fitting — Boot Solutions offers custom-moulded liners, bespoke footbeds and orthotics, shell punching and modifications, canting and alignment adjustments, and full boot repairs. The expanded store also carries a curated retail selection of skis, bindings, goggles, helmets, gloves, base layers, and European winter footwear from Sorel and Keen. Walk-ins are welcome, though appointments are recommended for new boot purchases or custom footbed work.
