About Asheville Treetops Adventure Park
Asheville Treetops Adventure Park is an elevated obstacle course and zipline destination located just five minutes from downtown Asheville, within the Adventure Center of Asheville campus. The park features a network of platforms, bridges, ziplines, and challenge elements strung between mature hardwood trees, offering a unique way to experience the forested hillside while testing your balance, agility, and nerve.
The course is designed with five difficulty levels — from beginner-friendly green routes close to the ground through to expert-level black routes high in the canopy — so families, corporate groups, and thrill-seekers can all find an appropriate challenge. The park uses a continuous belay safety system, meaning participants are clipped in from start to finish with no chance of accidental disconnection. Sessions run for two to three hours, and the staff provide thorough safety briefings and coaching at every transition point. Kids as young as four can participate on the dedicated KidZip course, America's first zipline designed specifically for children under 10.
As part of the Adventure Center of Asheville, the treetops park sits alongside KOLO Bike Park (downhill mountain biking) and Asheville Ziplines, meaning visitors can bundle multiple adventures into a single day. The wooded setting just off the Blue Ridge Parkway feels a world away from the city, yet it's close enough for a half-day outing before heading to dinner in downtown Asheville.
