About Summit Ski & Snowboard School
Summit Ski & Snowboard School is Zermatt's first British-run ski and snowboard school, operating in the resort since 2004. The school specialises in small-group and private lessons taught entirely in English, making it the top choice for English-speaking visitors who want clear, effective instruction without a language barrier.
Group lessons are capped at just four participants — far smaller than the industry standard — ensuring each student receives personalised feedback throughout the session. Private lessons cover alpine skiing, snowboarding, off-piste technique, and mountain guiding across Zermatt's vast 360-kilometre ski area, including the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise and Italian-side terrain. Children's programmes are tailored by age and ability with a focus on building confidence and having fun.
