About Isle of Palms Marina
Isle of Palms Marina is a full-service marina and boat rental operation located on the Intracoastal Waterway at Isle of Palms, one of Charleston's most popular barrier island beach communities. Situated at 41st Avenue with direct access to the open waters of the Atlantic Ocean and the protected creeks of the Lowcountry, the marina has been a hub for boating and fishing in the Charleston area for decades.
Their fleet includes a wide range of rental boats from 16-foot to 25-foot models — dual consoles, center consoles, and deck boats that accommodate up to ten passengers. All vessels come equipped with U.S. Coast Guard–approved safety gear, VHF radios, and local charts. Rentals are available hourly, half-day, or full-day with multi-day discounts. Beyond boat rentals, the marina offers captained charter services, fishing trips, and scenic harbor cruises. Their on-site fuel dock, boat ramp, and ship store make it easy to provision for a day on the water.
What sets Isle of Palms Marina apart is the sheer versatility of the experience — renters can cruise to uninhabited barrier islands for shelling, explore tidal creeks teeming with wildlife, anchor off the beach for a swim, or head offshore for deep-sea fishing, all from one convenient location. The friendly dock staff helps newcomers navigate local waterways and recommends routes based on tides and conditions, making it accessible even for boaters unfamiliar with Charleston's coastal geography.
